ABOUT ME

I was born on the eastside of Flint, Michigan. I graduated Flint Central High School in 1988, where I lettered in football, wrestling and track. Out of high school, I joined the United States Army on the delayed entry program. I attended boot camp at Fort Leonardwood, Missouri then was off to A.I.T. at Fort Lee, Virginia. Upon completion I was shipped out to Fort Hood, Texas 4th MMC 13th COSCOM.
While stationed at Fort Hood, duty called me to serve in the Persian Gulf War. I left active duty in October of 1995, after 6 years, 7 months, and 23 days. A back injury ended my time in the ARMY, the physical training was getting to be more than I could handle. I could have chose inactive reserve to serve rest of my 8 year obligation, but that’s not how I wanted to finish. I joined the National Guard in Lapeer, Michigan and finished my service. Loved every minute of it, well almost every minute.
I have served my country, and now I am ready to serve Allen. I am currently a member and serve on the board of the Allen Heritage Guild. I am on the Collin County Heritage Commission, the graveyard committee, the cruise committee, and the AID DIPC. I am a life member of the VFW where I currently serve as the Junior Vice Commander for the Allen Post. I have previously served as the Junior Vice Commander, Senior Vice Commander and Commander of the Plano VFW Post. I have lived in states from Michigan to Texas, to Georgia, to Florida, to Alaska, to Michigan again and finally back to Texas. I have lived in Texas for a total of 15 years and have been in Allen for 8 of those years.
Allen is a great community filled with great people, businesses, schools and a great Football and Hockey Team. I'm a proud to say I live here. It would be an honor and a privilege to serve on Allen's City Council and I would be extremely honored to have your vote.
